Welcome To 1984 In 2022

Yogi Berra was famous for saying “It’s deja vu all over again.” Seems we are going to get 1984 all over again thanks to the socialist Biden (Obama’s third term) administration.

Supposedly Biden and his other comrades have a great concern over any possible “disinformation” that might leak out there before the mid-term elections and they will labor to make sure that doesn’t happen. I could print my reaction to all that but it would not be prudent for a family-oriented blog so I will let you guess what my reaction is. Hint–It’s an eight-letter word that you don’t use in polite society.

Like most everything else he has done, Biden’s ploy is transparent. It is nothing less than a direct assault on the First Amendment and freedom of speech. His definition of disinformation is something the Biden regime disagrees with and that automatically makes it “disinformation” right there.

So contrary political opinions will no longer be allowed, and the new Ministry of Truth will be on guard to make sure they are stifled.

An article on https://spectator.org for April 28th noted: “Aside from suggesting that the first place to begin combatting misinformation would be with the Biden administration itself (for example, the claims that Joe Biden had no knowledge of Hunter’s business ventures, inflation is transitory and caused by Putin, the border swarm is ‘seasonal’ the Afghanistan exit was a ‘success,’ etc.) it is time to call out this government-run attack on free speech exactly for what it is: out-and-out fascism.”

In fact, this article compares what Biden is doing with what Mussolini did in Italy–and I must admit, I don’t see any difference. Mussolini applied “the twin tools of censorship and propaganda” back in the 1930s. Biden supplies us with a running total of all the “successes’ his regime has had (try naming one) and while telling us all the mistakes the Trump administration made and blaming Trump for our energy crisis which he himself is responsible for.

The article concludes with: “Plainly put, what the Biden administration is about with the creation of the DHS ‘Disinformation Governance Board’ is nothing less than the American version of what in 1933 so inspired Mussolini and his fascists–the Nazi ‘Reich Ministry for Popular Enlightenment and Propaganda.”

And the Woman who is going to run this fascist board for Biden is just perfect for the part. She has been described as a “partisan political hack.” She was known to have attacked the Hunter Biden laptop story–which she labeled as a “Trump campaign diversion” and she promoted the infamous Steele Dossier, which was, in itself, a classic piece of disinformation!

So, she is obviously the right person to head up Biden’s campaign on disinformation. She knows just what to promote and what to toss down the memory hole. I hope the patriots, conservatives, and the Republican Party will take this threat to our First Amendment rights seriously because it’s lots easier to lose those rights than it is to get them back once they are gone.
